Jack Robert in Fairway

About Us

Concinnity Port Side
Jack Robert used to be called Concinnity

Hi!  We are Lee and Dee Anderson and this site is about our tug named Jack Robert.  Jack Robert is a 37′ Lord Nelson Victory Tug built in 1984 as Hull #17.  The name Jack Robert is a combination of both of our dad’s names.  Jack was Dee’s dad. Robert was my dad. Both of them were in the Navy.  Jack was a boiler man and my dad was an airplane mechanic.  They both told great stories about their time in the service and I think both would approve of having their names on this great little tug.  Our moms were great and we have honored both of them in other ways but we have never done anything special like this to honor our dads who were great people.  You can find out more about the specifics of Jack Robert on the LNVT owners website found at http://www.lnvt.org/hull-17.

Learn more about Jack Robert and our time with him by clicking on the “Blog” link at the top of the page.

    1. Capt. Tom, I did not know we had anyone following us in the Ingram Barge fleet. I think we ran with one of the other Ingram fleet when we were bringing Jack Robert back from Saugatuck, MI back in 2014. Would love to see the wheelhouse and engine room on your tow sometime as well as meet you in person. How did you find out about us?
