On Easter Sunday we learned of the tragic loss of our godson, Shane Hoag, at the tender age of 49. He was described by his family as follows: “Shane was a lover of life. He enjoyed many hobbies and passions including hunting, fishing, dirt track racing from his Luverne days, tossing bags with friends, and camping. Always ready with a smile, a joke, or a conversation, Shane was an engaging soul that never met a stranger. He loved a good bonfire, not only sitting by them but building them. He marveled and appreciated many of God’s wonders, big and small, sunrises and sunsets, lightning storms, serene lakes, and the beauty of the land”. We will miss him.
